FOUNDATION FIRST 2016
The 3-day Foundation First workshop is a new workshop for photographers who are not quite ready for the rigors and challenge of the regular Foundation Workshop. This course is designed for beginner-level photographers with less than 2 years of shooting experience or for established photographers who want to ease into the FW process of tough critiques and deep personal introspection.
Taught by experienced Foundation instructors, the FF offers 3 days of:
Photojournalism Lessons: one full day of group instruction by the world’s best documentary wedding photographers. You will learn useable techniques as well as the mindset and skills necessary to implement this techniques. These are the lessons you need to become a better photographer and thus a better wedding photographer.
In-the-field Mentoring: one full day of shooting at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo with a qualified photography mentor. This is an opportunity to practice new learnings and receives hands-on interaction from mentors who are former FW students or teachers
Honest Critiques: one full day of light critiques on your work in group sessions led by the top teachers of the FW. This is not a “photo judging” session. We will give you honest discussion and feedback that you can take home
Although this is our first attempt at a “beginner level” Foundation experience, we will take good care of you educationally and logistically. We have conducted 26 workshops in many countries and have developed a very capable staff ready for any challenges.
So, if you’re not ready for the FW2016 yet, we invite you to consider Foundation First 2016 and start building now…
